Beautiful, sunny Monterey, the world capital for artichokes, played host to this year’s event. Attendees were treated to more than two dozen conference sessions and workshops by more than 30 speakers. Topics ranged from Developing Trauma Responders to Strategic Planning for Success in the Changing California Children’s Services Marketplace.

Taking a short break from manning the eINSIGHT exhibitor booth, we were fortunate to participate in an insightful workshop on making the most of PSC-35 and CANS assessments. The focus was on how to utilize CANS data to monitor client progress and impact of your organizations – something we work with our own clients on when training on the eINSIGHT behavioral health data platform.

While on the exhibitor floor, we had some great discussions with several executives/organizational leaders about how eINSIGHT could help them: (1) improve their assessment of client needs, (2) improve clinician access to client results to inform treatment planning/services needed, and (3) improve senior management access to real time reports that show population health outcomes so they can monitor program effectiveness.

The Prize Giveaway

Of course there’s time away from work for food and fun. Taking a break from wine and cheese following the blind wine tasting, we had the pleasure of awarding a lucky prize winner with something a little out of the ordinary. The room was silent with anticipation as we drew the prize winner for a one-week Santa Fe, New Mexico retreat valued at $2,500!
